Project Update: We've passed a milestone...

So with last night's trades, the total project inventory blew past $1000.00 in total value, and now stands at $1132.60, more importantly the "Over $5.00 Value" cards are at $939.00.  Pretty amazing that one wee lonely Plague Rats has traded up over time to get to this point.

The response and variety of cards has been tremendous.  We've had two multilands, A Tolarian Academy, a Guardian Beast, some huge foils like a Snapcaster Mage, and even good old Uncle Istvan.  In total there are 292 cards in the project inventory that are up for trade.  As of the most recent trade, 132 cards have found a new home (or will as soon as I get them).

I've done trades to the 14 states in the US, Canada, and just recently to the UK as well.  Word is spreading, and sharing the project on Twitter, Facebook, G+, your local store and FNM games, and anywhere else is really appreciated.

For those not familiar with this project (yay for reddit!), I started with one Plague Rats on January 5th, and made a series of trades to get to the trading inventory that I currently have.  Once we hit a certain threshhold of card value, Card Kingdom in Seattle has a Black Lotus which we will trade the collection for, and that card will be auctioned off and donated to charity, specifically to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Here's the Lotus for those interested, it's a PSA8 graded Beta Black Lotus.  Pretty isn't it?
